Laura Zsako, is currently pursuing her PhD in Clinical Psychology at Walden University. She has four years of significant experience in the field, with a specialized focus on co-occurring disorders. Her academic journey began with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University in 2018, followed by a Master's of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Sports from Capella University in 2020. Most recently, she earned her second Master's degree, this time in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, from Walden University in 2023.

Laura has honed her skills as a therapist across a range of environments including schools, private practices, and inpatient and residential facilities throughout Arizona. Her therapeutic approach is person-centered, incorporating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior 

Therapy (DBT), systems theory, and solution-focused interventions. She values a holistic approach and incorporates neurofeedback into her practice. Laura is deeply committed to meeting her clients where they are and guiding them forward one step and one day at a time.

Motivated by her husband's own successful seven-year journey to sobriety, Laura is particularly passionate about working with clients battling substance abuse. His daily commitment to positive thinking and living one day at a time inspires her work.

Outside of her professional life, Laura cherishes the time she spends with her husband. Together, they enjoy hiking and exploring the natural beauty of our planet, taking on each new challenge one mountain at a time. This shared experience has brought countless rewards and uplifted their spirits. Laura also shares her husband's enthusiasm for sports, enjoying nothing more than watching a good game together.
