Full Continuum of Care and Personalized Treatment
At Pinnacle Peak we offer an extensive continuum of care. This includes extended care, medication assisted treatment (MAT), primary care treatment, outpatient treatment, family programs, alumni services and relapse prevention. Our personalized treatment experience starts with one of our master’s level therapists working with the client to construct a therapy program suited to their unique needs.
Our Caring Staff
Our caring staff dedicates their time to meet each individual’s unique needs by providing a client-centered approach. Our team of professionals includes a psychiatrist, medical doctor, psychiatric nurse, nurse practitioner, as well as master’s-level licensed therapists and case managers. Everyone on our staff, from our client care managers to our therapists, are committed to helping our clients achieve a successful recovery.
Comprehensive, Holistic, Evidenced-Based Therapies and Services
Pinnacle Peak offers the latest in cutting-edge therapies and services. We strive to provide our clients with the most effective treatments available. Our client care options include access to medical detox and physician-directed medication management. Our programs include therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy, individual and group therapy, trauma therapy, family therapy, and others. We also offer mindfulness training, anger management, Tai Chi, Yoga, outdoor therapeutic adventures, 12-step, and non-12-step programs, and many more.
Independent Living Skills
In addition to evidence-based treatments, clients learn skills that they need to live a healthy, rewarding and productive life. Some skills that clients learn include relapse prevention, skills, nutrition education, career/education, path development, mindfulness training and stress management.
The activities that are offered in our program can help clients find happiness and joy in their lives without substances. Holistic treatments include rock climbing, hiking, team sports, bowling and yoga, as well as a gym membership. Our clients also have the opportunity to become involved with the recovery fellowship of Arizona and attend retreats, conventions and sober events. Learning new ways to have fun can help clients find an important element in not only healing, but also in preventing relapse and staying sober beyond treatment.
Primary Care Treatment
Pinnacle Peak offers a supportive and intensive 30 to 45-day primary treatment program for those who are unable to commit to our extended care treatment. This provides all our clients with the essential tools they need to begin their road to recovery and a life free of addiction.
Extended Care Treatment
Research states the greatest chance of success in treating a substance use disorder happens when clients attend an extended care program. Our unique extended care treatment program offers 45-day, 60-day, and 90+-day treatment opportunities. We have these options to not only address the challenges of reentering society, but to also ensure our clients are better equipped to live a healthy life of sustained recovery and happiness. In addition to clinical offerings, we provide an integrated approach to recovery that allows the client to develop a healthy and productive life.
An intensive outpatient program (IOP) is offered for clients who live in the Scottsdale area and may not require (or desire) the clinical intensity of extended care treatment. IOP clients receive all the benefits of our integrated approach to recovery.
Transitioning from treatment into a life of continued recovery is a critical time. Our professionals continue to support our clients and their families throughout this transition process. Some clients who complete the extended care treatment program choose to stay in the Scottsdale area due to the relationships and support they build with our wonderful community. These clients often transition into the IOP program, allowing them to continue receiving support from their therapists during this critical time. We also offer weekly recovery meetings for our alumni living in the Scottsdale community.
Family and Loved Ones
We recognize that addiction is a disease that’s devastating both to the afflicted and to the people who love them most. Our therapists are committed to working with families and loved ones to help them understand addiction, develop new skills to re-build healthy relationships, and to support their loved-one in healthy ways as they transition into their new life full of hope.
