Independent Living Skills

In addition to evidence-based treatments, clients learn skills that they need to live a healthy, rewarding and productive life. Some skills that clients learn include relapse prevention skills, nutrition education, career/education path development, mindfulness training and stress management.

Therapeutic Activities

We also offer activities that are designed to help clients find happiness and joy in their lives without substances. Holistic treatments include rock climbing, hiking, team sports, bowling and yoga, as well as a gym membership. Clients also have the opportunity to become involved with the Recovery Fellowship of Arizona and attend retreats, conventions and sober events. Learning new ways to have fun is an important element in not only healing, but also in preventing relapse and staying sober beyond treatment.

Primary Care Treatment

Pinnacle Peak offers a supportive and intensive 30 to 45-day primary treatment program for those who are unable to commit to our extended care treatment. Clients in this program receive the same program supports and services that are available to our clients in the residential program. This provides all of our clients with the essential tools they need to begin their road to recovery and a life free of addiction.

Extended Care Treatment

Research states that the greatest chance of success in treating a substance use disorder happens when clients attend an extended care program. Our unique extended care treatment program offers 45-day, 60-day, and 90+-day treatment opportunities to address the challenges of reentering society better equipped to live a healthy life of sustained recovery and happiness. In addition to clinical offerings, we provide an integrated approach to recovery that allows the client to develop a healthy and productive life.

Outpatient Treatment

Pinnacle Peak Recovery also offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for clients who live in the Scottsdale area and may not require (or desire) the clinical intensity of residential or extended care treatment. IOP clients receive all of the benefits of our integrated approach to recovery.

Alumni Services

Transitioning from treatment into a life of continued recovery is a critical time. Pinnacle Peak professionals continue to support our clients and their families throughout this transition process. Some clients who complete the extended care treatment program choose to stay in the Scottsdale area due to the relationships and support they build within the Pinnacle Peak Recovery community. These clients often transition into the IOP program, allowing them to continue receiving support from their therapists during this critical time. We also offer weekly recovery meeting for our alumni living within the Scottsdale community.

Family and Loved Ones

Pinnacle Peak Recovery recognizes that addiction is a disease that’s devastating both to the afflicted and to the people who love them most. Our therapists are committed to working with families and loved ones to help them understand addiction, develop new skills to re-build healthy relationships, and to support their loved-one in healthy ways as they transition into their new life full of hope.
