In 2009, Allie took a leap of faith and commitment by joining the United States Navy. Here, she quickly proved her mettle by climbing the ranks, achieving the E-5 designation in under four years. While serving, she made a significant impact by founding the Kitsap Region Women's Symposium at Naval Base Kitsap. This initiative brought together influential female leaders to guide hundreds of female sailors through challenges in a male-dominated environment.
However, her journey was not without personal challenges. Allie faced heartbreak in 2012 when her husband, a K9 handler, MA2 (ESW) Sean E. Brazas, tragically lost his life serving our nation. But despite the pain, Allie carried on with resilience. She remarried in 2017, tying the knot with her 7th-grade sweetheart.
In 2018, Allie joined Pinnacle Peak Recovery ownership team, where her role expanded in 2023, focusing on veterans' outreach. Recognizing the dire need for treatment centers for fellow veterans, many of whom struggled with addiction and mental health, she saw the opportunity to bridge the gap and ensure they receive the care they deserve.
Her accolades also include becoming a published author. In 2019, her memoir, "Flawed and (Still) Worthy," graced the Amazon Best Sellers list. A couple of years later, in 2022, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Homeland Security & Emergency Management from GCU. Recently, in 2023, she became a Certified Life Coach.
For Allie, her proudest achievement remains being a mother to Addie, born in 2010. Outside of her demanding professional life, she enjoys cheering on Addie at softball games, spending quality time with her husband, pursuing fitness, and being with her beloved pups. Through her vast experiences, Allie brings a unique blend of compassion, determination, and drive to the field of addiction recovery.
