At Pinnacle Peak, every facet of our treatment program is backed by evidence. We offer a wide range of treatment programs and options so you’ll never be pushed into a “one-size-fits-all” program. Your plan will grow and develop alongside you as you and your dedicated team learn what approaches best fit your recovery goals.
We believe in our proven process, which is built through years of experience in recovery to ensure a strong foundation for long-term healing. Our whole-person approach, backed by compassionate care, will help you find what you need every step of the way.
The beginning of our process starts with a pre-screening. This is the first step in our collaborative journey with you to ensure we understand your needs. During this time, you also have the space to ask any questions you may have about our facility, treatment program, staff, and more.
The foundation laid during this process will include a general timeline and the level of care you will begin with. This plan isn’t set in stone and will continue to evolve as you learn more about your wants and needs.
No matter what level of care you begin, our supportive staff will provide you with quality, dedicated care. Let’s look at what levels of support you can expect here at Pinnacle Peak.
The first step in many people’s recovery journey is through a detox program, especially if you’re seeking healing from opioids, alcohol, or benzodiazepines. Through a medically guided detox program, you will be in an environment that fosters healing, supporting you as you go through withdrawal. Our staff will help ensure your safety and comfort as you begin your journey toward healing.
While you can step into an inpatient program at any point in your journey, it’s often the first step for many when they start recovery. Through an inpatient program at Pinnacle Peak, you’re put into a safe environment dedicated to your healing. You can access 24-hour care, catered meals, supportive staff, and peers who understand your journey. Your exact timeline will vary depending on your needs, but you will have access to all of our care and treatment during your stay to find the best options for you.
If you’re looking for a treatment option that provides near-daily treatment, where you can stay at home or in our supportive housing, then our day treatment program is the right choice for you. This program, also known as partial hospitalization (PHP), meets 5 days a week and has the same quality care, case management, and full clinical programming. You can start at this level of treatment, move up to this level, or use it to transition between inpatient and our other outpatient options.
Outpatient treatment is an umbrella term used to describe any care program where you’re not on-site most of the day. At Pinnacle Peak, we offer two different levels of outpatient treatment: intensive outpatient and evening intensive outpatient. Both levels of care have access to the same, high-quality, evidence-based care with options for case management and ongoing support.
Our intensive outpatient program is our higher level of care between the two, meeting 5 days a week in the mornings for 3 hours at a time. People in this level of care can still utilize our supportive housing program, too. Our evening intensive outpatient program is the next level down in support. It meets 3 days a week in the evenings for 3-hour sessions. You can always move between levels of outpatient care, and even return to them if you need to at any time.
Our commitment to your recovery doesn’t end when you’re no longer in our programming. Anyone who’s ever utilized any level of care with Pinnacle Peak has access to our alumni network. Through our alumni programming, you’ll find access to ongoing support through people who understand the journey you’ve been on and are currently continuing. Our alumni also have access to individual therapy, meeting at a frequency that suits their needs.
Substance use disorders come in many shapes and sizes, and our team at Pinnacle Peak Recovery understands that. No matter what substance you’re seeking healing from, we have treatment options. This includes polysubstance use, as well. Here are just a few of the substance-specific treatment options we provide.
In Arizona and across the country, benzodiazepines are often taken alongside opioids, contributing to overdose deaths statewide. While benzodiazepines come in many forms and are utilized in medical settings to treat anxiety and seizure disorders, they’re just as often distributed illegally. If you or a loved one is seeking healing away from benzodiazepines, our benzodiazepine addiction treatment program is here for you.
Cocaine is a stimulant substance that impacts the dopamine system within the brain. This can make a cocaine use disorder feel crushing, contributing to depression and anxiety alike. Through our cocaine addiction treatment, we address the unique concerns of this substance through our evidence-based treatment and holistic approach to build a strong foundation for long-term healing.
Fentanyl is an extremely potent opioid that is cheap and easy to produce. Because of this, many people across Arizona encounter this substance without even realizing it, and it’s one of the leading causes of overdose deaths. On top of that, opioids come with strong cravings and other withdrawal symptoms that can make recovery feel daunting. Our fentanyl addiction treatment program starts with detox, supporting you through this process and helping alleviate cravings and other withdrawal symptoms. Our dedicated team understands the impact of opioids and is here to help you put your life back on the track you want to be on.
Heroin is an illicit, unregulated opioid often taken via injection or snorting. When taken often or over months or years, you can experience withdrawal when stopping this substance. The side effects and cravings of withdrawal are what often keep someone in heroin’s radar. At Pinnacle Peak, our heroin addiction program works with you to craft a recovery plan to suit your needs. From detox to outpatient, you’ll be surrounded by understanding and support.
Methamphetamine is a very unique drug. It’s a stimulant, but it is also known for its psychotic and hallucinogenic side effects. It’s often produced in “meth labs” and is seen in higher concentration in rural areas due to the supplies and space available. This combination contributes to people being misunderstood and not having access to the help they need and deserve, but Pinnale Peak is here to fill that role. Our methamphetamine addiction treatment program provides long-term support and understanding, backed by evidence, to set you up for long-term healing.
Alcohol’s prevalence is high in our society. It’s everywhere, from casual settings to business parties, and this can lead to a misunderstanding of how alcohol use disorders look and work. More than 1.3 million Arizonans binge drink alcohol at least once a month. Here at Pinnacle Peak, we aim to provide support and education about alcohol and alcohol use disorders so our community can make informed decisions about their health.
Alcohol use disorders are long-lasting, impacting relationships, mental health, physical health, and more. Through our alcoholism treatment program, we address every facet of alcohol use, not just one component. Our whole-person, evidence-based approach is built with your success in mind. We support you by starting with medically supported alcohol detox and continuing through inpatient, outpatient, and beyond.
No matter your history with alcohol use, our team will help. There’s no wrong time to start healing or to return to recovery. We will work with you to craft a plan that suits your needs
Mental health disorders impact more than 1 million adults across Arizona. Despite this, more than 300,000 residents didn’t receive the care they needed. This is due to a combination of costs and a low availability of mental health professionals across the state.
This is why Pinnale Peak Recovery also offers mental health services for our community. We offer primary mental health care across all levels of support. No matter what mental health condition you’re seeking healing for, our team is equipped to help. Here are just a few of the mental health conditions for which we offer treatment.
Anxiety disorders leave a lasting impact on daily life. They cause lingering fear and stress and can even lead to physical side effects as a result. At Pinnacle Peak, our team recognizes how thoroughly anxiety affects your life. This is why our anxiety treatment addresses your concerns through evidence and compassion. We will teach you the tools you need to recognize your anxiety and address triggers so you can lead the life you want once more.
Through highs and lows, bipolar disorder can make life feel unpredictable. The highs can lead to reckless decisions, while the lows can impact self-care; both can be a risk to your life in their own ways. No matter what type of bipolar disorder you’re living with, our team of experts is here to help. Our bipolar disorder treatment program will help treat the source, giving you the skills you need to manage your symptoms and understand how this condition occurs. We will work with you to regain control of your life.
1 in 3 adults in Arizona experience symptoms of depression and/or anxiety each year. Depression is more than just occasional feelings of sadness, it’s a lingering feeling that can make life seem bleak or pointless. Though it can seem endless while living with it, this isn’t true. Through depression treatment here at Pinnacle Peak, our team will help you understand the root of these feelings and learn to overcome them.
Obsessive-compulsive disorder is a condition that many people live with, yet few truly understand. Our team at Pinnacle Peak utilizes evidence-based treatment to give you the tools you need to manage your obsessions and compulsions. We offer OCD treatment for all levels of care, from inpatient to PHP, outpatient, and beyond. We’re here to support you as long as you need it, so you can live the life you deserve.
Often confused with anxiety disorders, panic disorders are a different type of anxiety-related condition that involves experiencing panic attacks on a regular, yet unpredictable, basis. This can make daily life feel terrifying, as you are unsure of when a panic attack may hit. This is where panic disorder treatment can help. Through proper care and management, you can learn to identify your triggers and retrain your brain to better manage and lessen your panic attacks.
Personality disorders cover a wide range of mental health conditions, from paranoid personality disorder to narcissistic personality disorder. Each condition has its symptoms, causes, and lifelong impacts. At Pinnacle Peak, our personality disorder treatment program is flexible, molded to fit your needs. Through evidence and holistic treatment options, we will help you find the healing you deserve.
Often seen as a symptom instead of a treatable component, self-harm is a damaging mindset both physically and mentally. Not only can it be found in many other conditions, but it also doesn’t manifest in one singular form. Our self-harm treatment program works to identify the source of your self-harm and teach you the skills you need to overcome and manage these desires.
Our treatment programs at Pinnacle Peak are built to be versatile, so they can be adapted for anyone who walks through our doors. We see the value in all lives and are committed to long-term support and recovery for everyone we treat. Because of this, we recognize that some circumstances are more unique than others and can benefit from additional, specialized treatment.
These treatment programs complement our other treatment options and provide understanding and peer support. Let’s discuss each program and how it can benefit your healing journey.
Healing is complex, as are the things we seek healing from. Rarely do people come to us with only one problem they need help with; it’s always multi-faceted. This is why we utilize a whole-person approach to recovery of all kinds. In some cases, it’s not the condition that’s complex, but rather the fact that they have multiple conditions that need healing.
If you or a loved one is dealing with untreated mental health and substance use disorders, our dual-diagnosis program is the right choice for you. This program works through both substance use and mental health as connected conditions, helping provide well-rounded healing that will set you up for long-term success in recovery.
Trauma happens to people every day. They can happen at any point in your life, and no two traumatic incidents will look exactly the same. Here in Arizona, more than 26% of children will experience at least one trauma event, otherwise known as an adverse childhood experience (ACE). We offer both trauma therapy as a component of all of our treatment programs, as well as specialized PTSD treatment. You can find healing, and we’re here to help.
When it comes to healing, everyone has their own backgrounds that contribute to their journey. Some instances are more unique than others, which is where our Heroes Haven program comes into play. This program provides substance use treatment, trauma therapy, mental health support, and more. All of this is backed by our evidence-based approach and master’s-level clinicians. In this program, you will be surrounded by peers who understand what you’ve gone through and staff who know how to help.
