Pinnacle Peak Recovery, founded right here in Arizona, offers the full continuum of not only drug and alcohol rehab but also mental health services. From supportive housing to our evidence-based approach to treatment, our commitment to you begins the moment you step through our doors.
No matter your history with substance use, mental health, or recovery, we’ll craft a plan that meets your needs. You won’t be left in the dark at any point. Our medical staff uses a hands-on approach that keeps you involved in the planning process.
If you or your loved one is looking to start the next chapter of your life, you’re in the right place.
In the 2018 survey, 9.52% of Arizona residents reported using illicit drugs in the past month, nearly 1% higher than the national average
Our approach to recovery is tailored to you. We understand that every individual who walks through our doors brings a story as unique and diverse as they are. This is why we don’t use a “one-size-fits-all” approach to healing. We continually adapt your plan to suit your needs and reach your healing goals.
Not only is compassion at the forefront of our minds when we work through treatment, but we utilize our proven process to make sure you find long-term success in your recovery. Through our whole-person approach, we build a strong foundation for your next steps in life.
As you begin your journey at Pinnacle Peak Recovery, you will go through our pre-screen and intake process. This allows us to get to know you and your needs best while also giving you space to ask questions and get a feel for our staff and facility. During this time, we will work with you to determine what level of care and timeline will best suit your needs. This won’t be set in stone and can adapt as your treatment progresses, but it will help give you an idea of where you’ll be starting.
No matter what level of care you begin, our supportive staff will provide you with quality, dedicated care. Let’s take a look at what levels of support you can expect here at Pinnacle Peak.
For those seeking recovery from substances such as opioids, alcohol, and benzodiazepines, our detox program is the right start for you. With medical and psychiatric provider access, we offer a safe environment to go through withdrawal. Our team will help manage side effects and ensure your well-being and comfort as you begin your journey toward healing.
Our inpatient program has you staying on-site, where you have access to 24-hour care, catered meals, supportive staff, and an environment that’s centered around recovery. You will have full access to all of our treatment options and varieties, from individual and group therapy to our experiential and holistic plans. All of these are backed by evidence, providing you with a range of quality options to find what works best for you.
At Pinnacle Peak, our day treatment program, also known as partial hospitalization (PHP), meets 5 days per week with optional supportive housing. Whether you start at this level of care, or use it to transition out of inpatient, you will still have access to case management, individual therapy, our full clinical programming, and all of our medical staff.
Our outpatient program can be broken down into two kinds: intensive outpatient and evening intensive outpatient. Our primary intensive outpatient is 5 days a week, in the mornings, with an average of 3 hours of clinical programming per session. We still offer supportive housing and case management across this level, too.
Our evening intensive outpatient meets 3 days per week during the evenings but still has 3 hours of clinical programming per session. This works great for transitions out of inpatient treatment or for those who have day jobs they attend alongside treatment.
Even when you finish with our formal programming, we have a strong, supportive alumni network that here’s to keep you uplifted throughout your recovery journey. We also offer continued individual therapy sessions for those who wish to continue them. You can also come back any time and resume other levels of care if your needs ever change.
Our team is equipped to handle any kind of substance use disorder (SUD), including people who are living with more than one SUD. Here are just a few of the substances that we see come through our doors most often.
Whether you started taking Adderall as a prescription or you got it secondhand, Adderall use disorders can have a lasting impact on your physical and mental health. Our team of master's-level physicians is highly educated on how these types of medications impact your life. Our Adderall addiction treatment program addresses the concerns specific to Adderall to help you find healing away from it.
Benzodiazepines, which are used to treat anxiety and seizure disorders, are often seen being taken outside of a prescription due to their side effects. While they’re not often deadly on their own, benzodiazepines are one of the leading substances seen frequently in opioid overdoses. When combined with other substances, benzodiazepines quickly become deadly. Our benzodiazepine addiction treatment program at Pinnacle Peak can help you quit this substance for good.
Our cocaine addiction rehab program uses the same evidence-based approach as our other types of SUD treatment. At the same time, it recognizes the differences in effect between stimulants, like cocaine, and other substances, such as depressants. Our highly trained medical staff keep all this at the forefront of their minds as they help you pave the road to recovery.
Fentanyl is one of the leading causes of overdose death across Arizona and the United States alike. This substance is potent and has a high-risk overdose potential. Those seeking healing from a fentanyl addiction will first start in our detox program so they can safely manage the side effects and cravings that come with opioid withdrawal. This builds a strong foundation for your healing as you move forward through Pinnacle Peak’s treatment program.
No matter how you first encountered heroin, taking the steps away from it can seem daunting. At Pinnacle Peak Recovery, we’re upfront about our treatment practices to help make those steps as easy as possible. In our heroin addiction rehab program, we provide ongoing support during detox, inpatient, and beyond so you can find healing away from heroin.
The reason we offer marijuana addiction treatment is because we have seen people who need it and want it. Just because something is legal in many places doesn’t mean it carries no risks. Our team is trained at a master’s level and will help you find the recovery you seek.
Methamphetamine, often referred to as meth, is a very volatile substance seen in higher frequency in rural areas. This can make it even harder for some to find healing, but at Pinnacle Peak, we have you covered. Our extensive methamphetamine addiction rehab program is designed with your success in mind.
Opioids come in a wide variety of forms, from morphine to fentanyl and heroin. This range can lead to misunderstandings about opioids and how exactly they impact people. At Pinnacle Peak, our team of master’s level physicians understand that not all opioids are the same, just like not every person who walks through our door is. This is why our opioid addiction treatment program is moldable, to fit the needs of the individual so they get the results they deserve.
Addiction Treatment In Arizona
Let the team at our Scottsdale drug rehab guide your journey.
Our alcoholism treatment program starts with detox and is available at all levels of care. Arizona is one of the top 10 states with the highest number of alcohol-related accidents and fatalities. Alcohol use is often overlooked and misunderstood due to its legality and general popularity in society.
This doesn’t make it any less impactful and even life-threatening. Those living with alcohol use disorders may experience financial strain, relationship deterioration, increased risk of injury, increased risk of brain damage, and much more.
Our team understands not only the range in which alcohol impacts a life but also the range of people who are living with alcohol use disorders. No matter your age or history with alcohol use and recovery, our team will utilize our evidence-based treatment options to craft a plan that will help you reach your healing goals.

Not only does our facility at Pinnacle Peak offer substance use disorder treatment, but we also have primary mental health services. This means if you’re just seeking support and recovery for untreated mental health, you’re in the right place. Below are just a few of the mental health conditions that we treat.
Those living with anxiety disorders don’t just experience worry; they live with fear and concern that negatively impact their ability to go about their daily lives. Through our anxiety treatment at Pinnacle Peak, we will teach you not only coping skills but also give you the tools you need to recognize anxiety and its triggers.
Bipolar disorder is a highly misunderstood condition, and yet more than 7 million adults across the country have it. Our master’s-level physicians at Pinnacle Peak understand this condition and all the forms it comes in. Through our bipolar disorder treatment program, we will give you the tools you need to reduce symptoms and manage episodes so you can live your life how you want.
While we all may experience moments of intense grief or sadness during our lives, depression is more than that, and our team at Pinnacle Peak understands that. Depression can make even the simplest tasks feel like unsurpassable mountains. Through our depression treatment program, you’ll learn how to navigate and rework these intense thoughts so you can come out the other side on top.
While self-harm isn’t a diagnosis in and of itself, we still recognize the damaging role that self-harm plays on mental and physical health. It can occur in a wide range of conditions as a method of coping. With our compassionate care approach to healing, our team at Pinnacle Peak Recovery will help you find the source of your self-harming and teach you new skills so you can find relief.
Falling under a similar vein as anxiety disorders, panic disorders consist of someone living with panic attacks that disrupt their day-to-day functioning. This uncertainty about when they might strike increases stress and can make life more challenging than it needs to be. Our team at Pinnacle Peak Recovery is here to help you find healing from your panic disorder. Through our panic disorder treatment program, we’ll teach you the tools you need to manage and lessen your panic attacks.
There are many types of personality disorders, from dependent personality disorder to schizoid personality disorder. No matter what personality disorder you or a loved one need help with, our team at Pinnacle Peak has you covered. We offer treatment for all types of personality disorders through our evidence-based programming. We’ll work with you to carve a path toward your healing goals.
At Pinnacle Peak Recovery, everyone who walks through our doors is important to us. We recognize the versatility and uniqueness of every individual’s lived experience. This is why we offer not only a wide range of substance use and mental health treatment programs but additional specialty programs, too.
Our goal, at all times, is to ensure our options can help you find the right combination to set you up for long-term success in your healing.
Many people come to us not needing one specific type of treatment but rather a combination. The most common example of this is having a mental health condition alongside a substance use disorder.
This is where our dual diagnosis program comes into play. It addresses mental health and substance use not as two separate entities but as two halves of the same card. We work with you to give you a whole-person approach to healing and recovery.
Trauma and PTSD can fall under the umbrella of mental health, but they’re much grander than that. Trauma is an umbrella term that refers to any event that leaves a lasting, negative impact on an individual. This makes trauma a widespread and varying condition, which is why we offer specific trauma therapy programs and PTSD treatment.
Healing is unique to everyone, but especially to those whose concerns stem from intense situations such as combat, natural disasters, and more. At Pinnacle Peak, we recognize the unique strain veterans face during their time in the military. This is why we founded our Heroes Haven program: to provide substance use, trauma, and mental health treatment designed with veterans in mind.

There’s no reason to wait to find healing. You can get started today with Pinnacle Peak Recovery. No matter what level of care you need, we will work with you to make your journey worthwhile.
